Associate Pastor in Music and Pastoral Care

 

Rev. Kevin Fryrear, our Associate Pastor in Music and Pastoral Care, has served FBC since 2006. He earned a Bachelors degree in 1978 from Southwest Baptist University in Music with a double minor in Spanish and Religion. He earned his Masters Degree in Church Music with emphasis in Religious Education in 1980 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

 

Kevin has been involved in Music Ministry since 1973. He spent several years “on the road” with gospel quartets. He, along with the love of his life, Rosie, have been serving the Lord together for over 32 years, and have served in Missouri, Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and Arizona (2 different times).

 

Kevin and his wife Rosie have five grown children and 17 grandchildren. He enjoys riding motorcycles and adores being a “Paw Paw”. His greatest joy in life is to see someone have their life transformed by the life changing blood of Jesus Christ and become a child of God.
