Sanctity of Human Life is Sunday

January 19, 2014

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3a) They are fearfully and wonderfully made and created in God’s image.

Who will speak up for the little ones?
– Did you know that one in every three children is murdered through abortion?
– Did you know that last year alone over 1 million more babies were slaughtered in our nation?
– Did you know that you can help make a difference?

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday will be the kick off for the annual “Change for Change” baby bottle campaign. Your change can literally help save lives. Just pick up a  “Change for Life” baby bottle in the foyer. It’s fun and easy. Get your friends and family involved. You can take it home or to work, or take one to both. Then fill it with change, silver works best, but every cent counts. Of course cash or checks are gladly accepted too! Make all checks payable to First Baptist Church. Then bring all bottles back no later than Sunday, February 9. All proceeds will go to Refuge in the desert sidewalk counseling ministry. They literally stand between life and death by providing  free help, and free resources with those planning and/or contemplating abortion. They also share the life giving message of hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ. He alone can change hearts and minds and thus save lives.

Every life is worth living. We humbly thank you for giving.
