How old are the youngest girls? My daughter is 8 years old. Is that to young? If not we would like to attend.

HI Liz,

We do have an active youth group. It’s solid and they are right now being challenged to seek what God has for them for the rest of their lives. We have a full time youth pastor on staff, of which I have forwarded your information to. Also I have sent your info to our Awana’s leader, I’m not sure of the cut off, regardless of that, I am sure you will find many other ministries your youth may be interested in.

The youth’s website is http://www.hookedstudents.net/ and you can get some information there as well.

We do have other couples living in Maricopa, that do attend. In my opinion, they are some of the coolest…

I currently live in Maricopa and I have 2 boys ages 16 & 15 and a 10year old daughter. We used to attend the Awana club at our church in Glendale 86th Avenue and Union Hills. We are looking for a church that has a very active youth group. My kids are currently in New York on vacation, but we would like to visit your church upon there return.

Hello Whitmyer family!

We’re glad you found us! Our children’s ministry should be contacting you about options. The Awana’s program will provide some solid Biblical training immediately for your five and eight year old and in a couple of years, your 2 year old as well. We also have Sunday School and Children’s church every Sunday. We have three services and have Sunday school during the 9:30 and 11:00 services times. There will be greeters and the welcome desk will have information as well.

Larry is moving to Chandler this coming Sunday the 18th. Darla and our 2 kids, 8 and 5, will be moving eventually. We were checking churches in the area and loved to see the Awana program and the other kids activities you have to offer. Is there a visitor center or a place where Larry can go the following Sunday to get introduced to someone and see what the church has to offer?

Paul, Kevin and the FBC staff and members-

Hey you guys it’s Daniel Couch….. I’m up in washington state with my family, I just wanted to take a second to let everyone know how much we miss everyone at FBC. I also need you all to know that without all of your help we would have never made it home. I still remember our first visit to FBC….nervous….exited….. we just wanted to find a home, and after that first service I knew that FBC was perfect! Now that we have been home a while there is not a day that goes by that we don’t miss FBC! We still listen to the services online from time to time and smile listening to you Pastor Paul =) and the whole time just waiting to hear brother Kevin shout out AMEN!!! It was also a very special day being baptised with my beautiful wife Jennifer in the fountain on easter morning, I remember being to tall for you Pastor Paul LOL! The lord truly bought us together and FBC holds a HUGE place in my families heart. That’s why my wedding day was very special, I was so proud to share that day with all of FBC’s members, truly we miss you guys….all of you. Please know after 6 months of being back home alot great stuff has happened already, I have a great job, a brand new beautiful baby girl “LOGAN LYNN COUCH” and she is amazing, our family has also finally found a church in our home town (Pastor Paul is a tough act to follow) We will be making a trip to visit AZ soon and please believe FBC is one of the first stops!! I also want to give a very special thank you to brother Kevin and his whole family, it is so hard to put into words the amount of love my family has for you Kevin……… we miss you<3 all of you!
