Sunday, August 1 is Promotion Sunday! Children will be graduating to the next level in all classes.

Program: Earn the God and Me award. The curriculum is designed to help children become best friends with Jesus and tell their story of “God and Me” together. Children will make games and keep them in a GAMEBOX (God and Me Exploring BOX). These games will reinforce the Bible lessons and provide opportunities for families to explore God’s love together.
For: Boys and Girls in grades 1, 2 & 3, and their parent/adult mentor (optional); God and Me is the first course in the “Duty to God” (*BSA) and “To Serve God” (*GSUSA) programs.

Introductory Meeting: Thursday, September 2, 6:30 p.m. PARENTS MUST ATTEND
Class Dates: September 9, 16, 23 &30
Time: 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Cost: $18 per student (includes all materials, awards, final celebration) $5 per adult (adult mentor materials; OPTIONAL to attend with your child)

Leigh Douglas, Dir. of Children’s Choir
Calling all Puppeteers, or those who want to be puppeteers who are in 6th through 12th grade! Our puppets will come out of the boxes on August 11 at 7:30 p.m. If you are new to puppets, we will have three classes for you to attend that will be mandatory to become a puppeteer. Details to be shared at our first meeting on August 11.
We will also be attending a very fun Puppet Festival together on September 17 & 18 in Tempe. Our current puppeteers will be competing this year on Friday night for the first time. There are tickets available for $7 if parents or any other church members would like to attend the competition.
Please plan to attend our first meeting on August 11 from 7:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m. to get all of the details for the coming year. This meeting is mandatory to sign up for puppets. Please see Leigh Douglas with any questions you might have.
Friday, July 9
Come exploring with us! All preschoolers (0-5) and siblings are welcome to join us on this exciting adventure to the new Arizona Sea Life Aquarium and lunch at the Rainforest Café in the Arizona Mills Mall.
Please fill out a registration form, available on the table in the Children’s Ministry area. You must be signed up by July 4! If you show up on your own for this event, you will pay full price as charged by Sea Life Aquarium and/or Rainforest Café and will not be included in our group activities.
Cost is $5 per person for the Aquarium and $8 per person for the Rainforest Café. We’ll meet at the aquarium at 10:00 a.m. You may choose to join us for both portions of the event, or just one part.
