What does “Maturity” look like?

Sometimes things just strike me funny. Maturity is one of those things. You see the young trying to look “grown up” by their dress, make up, trying to grow beards and moustaches, anything to make them look more mature. Then on the other side you have those who are supposed to be mature trying everything to look younger. There are more advertisements for hair color, hair transplants, wrinkle removers, tummy tucks, chin lifts and an endless list of other products to make you look and feel younger. According to the American Bible Society 88% of Americans say their household owns a Bible. That is good news. 82% of Americans consider themselves knowledgeable about the Bible. That number is higher than I would have expected and is really good news. 43% of Americans can name the first five books of the Bible. I guess what Americans say about themselves is better than reality. Half of the people who said they are knowledgeable about the Bible apparently don't know it very well.
