It's a HOT HOOKED Summer! Congratulations to all of 2014 Graduates, our prayers are with you as you enter into this new season in life. Last year Bicycling Magazine surveyed its readers about their preferences. 49% prefer climbing, 18% prefer descending, and 33% prefer both. That's right - 82% of bikers like climbing as much or more than riding downhill. Why would people rather kill their legs and lungs riding a bike uphill instead of sitting and letting gravity do all the work on a downhill? I know I am one of those who prefers the climbs and the reason is because I have a sense of accomplishment when I reach the top.
