Intentional Living

A Life-Changing Conference for Couples is coming

Saturday, November 6  — 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Do you feel like your marriage is stuck? Do you feel like you can be a better parent? Whether your marriage and parenting is good or in need of some desperate help, there is an upcoming marriage and parenting conference designed to help couples and families break through to a better life.

Dr. Randy Carlson, best-selling author and radio host of Intentional Living will be bringing the Intentional Living Marriage and Parenting

Conference to Highlands Church in Scottsdale, on Saturday, November 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“A successful marriage doesn’t just happen,” said Carlson, whose Intentional Living radio program airs daily on more than 250 radio stations across the nation. “If good looks made the difference, then attractive people would never divorce. And we know that’s not true.”

The morning of the conference will focus on key issues relating to parenting, such as how to stop negative behavior in its tracks, how to completely extinguish disrespect from the home, and how to raise your kids without raising your voice.

In the afternoon, Dr. Carlson’s teachings will focus on how to build a stronger and better marriage, focusing on topics such as how to build intimacy with your spouse and how to create a vision for the future, including getting out of debt and eliminating unhealthy emotions from your marriage.

Dr. Carlson is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the author of Starved for AffectionFather Memories, The Cain and Abel Syndrome, and the national best seller Unlocking the Secrets of YourChildhood Memories (co-authored with Dr. Kevin Leman). His latest book, The Power of One Thing, invites readers to begin moving toward change, one daily, intentional step at a time.
